Math Lab

MathLab training by EduMEasy — a startup founded by IIT Jodhpur alumni — for students in Grades VI through X. The programme transforms how students learn mathematics by replacing rote memorisation with practical, hands-on demonstration sessions.

EduMEasy's approach uses physical manipulatives, visual aids, and activity-based learning to help students grasp abstract mathematical concepts. From geometry and algebra to number theory and data handling, every topic is taught through practical demonstrations that students can see, touch, and experiment with.

Key aspects of the MathLab programme:

Hands-on practical demo sessions that make abstract mathematical concepts tangible and understandable.

Curriculum-aligned activities covering Grades VI through X mathematics.

Trained facilitators from EduMEasy who visit schools regularly to conduct sessions.

Activity kits and manipulatives that remain in schools for continued practice by teachers and students.

IN-DEED partnered with EduMEasy, a startup founded by IIT Jodhpur alumni and an REI Partner, to introduce experiential Math Lab activities in government schools.

The initiative addressed the need for more engaging and practical approaches to mathematics, particularly for students who find abstract mathematical concepts difficult to understand.

The programme benefited 350+ students.

Through hands-on experiments, visualisation and real-world applications, students were able to connect mathematical concepts with practical experiences rather than relying solely on textbook-based learning.

This approach made mathematics more interactive, enjoyable and easier to understand, while encouraging curiosity, logical thinking and greater confidence in learning the subject.
